Sustainable TEDx Event Toolkit

In preparation for TEDxSummit, hosted by Doha Film Institute, Noteworthy worked with TEDx to create a sustainable event toolkit to help TEDx organizers optimize the sustainability of their events. The toolkit includes a 7-step process, and sustainability strategies organized under 8 themes specific to the needs of TEDx events. Writing, research, and design were performed and sponsored by Noteworthy’s Lia Gudaitis and Reinier Halbertsma, with TEDxAmsterdam’s Irene Rompa, and support from Leticia Menger, Eiso Vaandrager, Christopher Silva, Lauren Cucinotta, Guy Bigwood, and Jim Stolze.

TEDx organizers can log into https://tedxcommunity.pbworks.com and click “Join a regional workspace” and select Sustainable TEDx Events Community, to build upon the toolkit. You can also download the toolkit here.

About Lia

I am a project manager and urban planner who loves discovering the uniqueness of places. I have traveled and lived abroad for 17 years, and love translating international ideas locally. I am a pragmatic creative. I take big ideas and make them happen here and now. I am as comfortable with a spreadsheet as I am with a sketching pen.
